Announcing our new name and a new look

Let June was established in 2015 in memory of our namesake, June Dewhirst. Since that time we have grown from having nothing more than an idea and enthusiasm to an organisation that has made 483 awards and given away £106,600. We are now firmly embedded in our local community in North Kirklees and have met so many people on our journey who have helped and encouraged us. As we look ahead to the next stage in the Let June story we are pleased to share that we are shortening our name to Let June and are complementing this with a new brand and website.

We continue to ‘make a difference’, but Let June does so much more than that. Our new name enables us to reflect more broadly the impact that our awards have made on the children and young people in our local community whose stories continually inspire us to keep doing what we do.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us, whether by proposing a child or young person to us for an award, following us on social media, telling a friend about our work or giving a donation. We look forward to continuing to build Let June and securing its future as a part of the North Kirklees community.
