Meet the team
Let June consists of a board of six Trustees drawn from a broad range of backgrounds. The Trustees set the general strategy for the charity and play an active role in managing applications. They review each and every funding request and are supported by Charity Manager, Nichola.
The four Charity Ambassadors act as a sounding board for the Trustees and provide valuable advice and expertise from their direct experience working in the local area.

I am Assistant Headteacher at Warwick Road Primary School in Batley. My desire to teach began at the age of 15 when I started volunteering in a local primary school. In my current position, I play a fundamental role in leading on the personal, social and relationship curriculum, and on pupil wellbeing. Let June’s mission to help improve the life chances of young people aligns strongly with my own values; this led to me becoming a Let June charity ambassador in 2023.
I have lived in North Kirklees all of my life. When I am not at work, I enjoy exploring new places, travelling and reading.
